Equine Balance – radiofrequency therapy for horses

The Equine Balance radiofrequency system is a form of endogenous thermotherapy for those who demand nothing but the very best for their horse. Our full-body system is founded on insights from human medicine, carefully tailored to the physiology of horses. It results in improved performance, the introduction of holistic therapy options, and optimal regeneration for your animal.

Equine Balance Performance

Performance

Equine Balance promotes blood circulation, increases nutrient and oxygen supply, and enhances metabolism and intracellular energy production. This interaction leads to a notable increase in your horse’s fitness and performance.
Equine Balance Therapie

Therapy

Our full-body system promotes your horse’s health by stimulating metabolism, improving blood circulation, and alleviating symptoms of pain. The results include enhanced muscle relaxation, elevated well-being, and an overall performance boost – reflected in improved relaxation, digestion, rideability, and suppleness.
Equine Balance Regeneration

Regeneration

The application of radiofrequency therapy can play a crucial role in the optimal recovery of your horse. Optimizing the function of organs such as the liver, kidneys, and pancreas prevents colic and reduces the risk of laminitis. By ensuring a faster, more thorough, and more efficient recovery, your horse will be ready for peak performance sooner.

EB-System – radio frequency therapy for equestrian sports, horse training and equine medicine

The EB-System - our core product - allows the best possible treatment and care for your horse. It includes our radiofrequency therapy device and all the accessories you need to use our whole-body system on your horse. In addition, we offer various EB packages that are specifically tailored to the requirements of different applications such as equestrian sports, horse training and equine medicine.

To the EB-System

Nica® Light Analyse Tool

The Nica® Light Analyse Tool offers completely new possibilities for both the initial status analysis and the evaluation of applications and is therefore the perfect complement to the Equine Balance EB-System.

Veterinarians, therapists, stud farms, breeders and sports stables: Our customers

Bianca Rüscher, RZ Hard show jumper:

“The power under the saddle is simply brilliant. Our competition horses, regardless of their age, are far more supple, energetic, and relaxed. It’s remarkable that, through the application of Equine Balance, we were able to avert an acute colic episode in a colic-prone mare (operated on 3 times).”

Veronika Tiefenthaler show jumper

Positive changes were already visible in the Nica analysis after the first treatment. My horse feels very good after a long absence from competitions. The first competitions were very promising. My second horse is hardly recognizable after three treatments: fine-ridden, relaxed, attentive and focused - completely different from before.

Imke Tratsis, veterinarian in Wangen:

"Our Oakey was lame-free after 6 treatments. Our horse recovered much faster than expected after a toxic episode of laminitis, thanks in part to treatment with Equine Balance."

Anne Haggenmüller and Elmar Fischer, dressage stable, Amtzell:

“Our horses feel fantastic. It’s truly impressive to see the improvement in our horses as a result of the treatment intervals with Equine Balance.”

Manfred Kalbrecht, rider and saddle dealer, Argenbühl:

“I was at a loss, unsure of what steps to take. Our gelding had Lyme disease a year ago, experienced weight loss, and was in an extremely worrying condition. Thanks to the treatments with Equine Balance, he’s now back in top form and can be ridden normally again.”

Adapting human medicine for the well-being of horses

Our specially developed therapeutic device for horses is built upon principles adopted from human medical science. Our radiofrequency therapy utilizes short and ultra-short waves, tailored specifically to the individual characteristics and body mass of horses. Our flexible applicators seamlessly adapt to the morphology of each treated area, providing a highly precise and effective treatment simply by placing them on the horse’s body. It goes without saying that the effectiveness and tolerability of Equine Balance have been proven by medical studies.

Equine Balance radiofrequency therapy must not be used if the mare has an acute infection or is pregnant.

The treatment duration depends on the selected program and can be up to 30 minutes.

For curative use, we recommend 1 to 2 treatments per week. Depending on the horse’s age, up to 10 treatments are recommended, or fewer for young horses or in cases of acute trauma.

Equine Balance gives you the opportunity to grow with a therapy established in human medicine and adapted to the horse.

No! Radiofrequency therapy uses electromagnetic waves to generate heat in muscles and surrounding tissue (diathermic effect). This heat acts both on tissues containing a lot of fluid, such as muscles, nerves, and connective tissue, and on those with less fluid, such as fatty tissue, bones, and tendons. The benefits of our whole-body system are manifold:

  • Improved blood circulation results in an increased supply of nutrients and oxygen to the tissues.
  • Increased metabolism: The heat promotes energy production within the cells.
  • Cells such as fibroblasts, osteoblasts, and adipocytes are positively influenced and stabilized.
  • Promotion of venous and lymphatic flow for faster removal of metabolic waste products from the cells.

An important aspect is that the therapy continuously varies the frequency so that the tissue does not become accustomed to it and remains constantly stimulated.

More about the differences

No, but at international tournaments the use must be registered with the FEI.
